Greetings. I am an astrophysicist interested in structures within a galaxy's centre. Currently, I hold an independent CNES Research Fellowship at the Observatoire de Paris in France under the guidance of Dr. Chervin Laporte.
Research
My main academic interest revolves around the evolution of densely bound star clusters in galaxy centres, which are commonly referred to as nuclear star clusters.
Studying these objects is interesting for several reasons.
Nuclear star clusters frequently host and interact with massive black holes and provide ideal conditions for causing exotic high-energy phenomena such as tidal disruption events and gravitational wave mergers.
Furthermore, the formation pathways of nuclear star clusters and their host galaxies are tightly intertwined.
My research makes use of various observational data sets, including the Hubble and James Webb Space Telescopes. Additionally, I develop a custom variant of the L-Galaxies semi-analytical galaxy formation model to study the formation and evolution of massive star clusters, including nuclear star clusters.
I am a member of the PHANGS, Einstein Telescope, and L-Galaxies collaborations as well as the Euclid consortium.

Prior to my current position, I held a short-term postdoctoral position at the Max-Planck-Institut für Astronomie in Heidelberg, Germany, under the supervision of Dr. Nadine Neumayer.
I obtained my PhD degree from the University of Heidelberg in July 2025 under the shared supervision of Dr. Nadine Neumayer (MPIA, Heidelberg) and Dr. Silvia Bonoli (DIPC, San Sebastián).
